Six ways to sell on Hobber, and how to pick yours

A spa does not sell like a karting track, and a hotel does not sell like a concert. Hobber gives every business the booking model that fits how it already works. Here are all six, and who each one is for.

Six ways to sell on Hobber, and how to pick yours

Most booking platforms were built for one kind of business and stretched to fit the rest. That is why a restaurant ends up selling "tickets", or a tour operator ends up managing seats in a spreadsheet next to the platform. Hobber was built the other way round: one checkout, six booking models, and each business picks the ones that match how it already runs.

1. Time slot sessions

For: experiences, activities, sports courts, classes, restaurant sittings, wellness appointments.

You run your day in sessions. Each one has its own capacity and a booking cutoff, and people pick the time that suits them. A padel club sells courts by the hour. A restaurant opens its evening as bookable sittings. A spa sets capacity per therapist or per room. The 4pm session you never fill is on sale all day, to everyone deciding what to do this afternoon.

2. Walk in passes

For: attractions, cafes, spas, play areas, anything that is simply open.

People buy now and arrive whenever you are open. There is no time to pick and nothing to manage: one scan at the door redeems the pass. It is the easiest way to sell when your capacity is flexible and the visit is on the guest's schedule.

3. Day bookings

For: beach clubs, day passes, equipment hire, multi day experiences.

A full day, or a range of days, priced per day and prepaid before anyone arrives. The guest sees the whole range and the whole price before committing.

4. Seat plans

For: concerts, shows, sports events, anything with a venue.

Draw your venue once: sections, tiers and prices. Buyers pick the exact seat they will sit in, and seats are held live while people choose, so the same seat can never be sold twice.

5. Nightly stays

For: hotels, resorts, holiday homes.

Rooms times nights on a real rate calendar, with per night prices, minimum stays and a stop sell switch when you need one. Your rooms sit in the same app where your guests book everything else they will do in the city.

6. Guided tours

For: tour operators, desert safaris, city tours, boat trips.

Your route is the product. Set departures for each weekday, the seats on each one, the stops along the way and priced pickup zones. Set it once, and seats sell while you are out driving today's tour.

Mixing models

Many businesses use more than one. A tour operator sells departures and also short sessions from base between them. A restaurant sells timed sittings at dinner and walk in covers at lunch. A spa runs appointments and walk in passes side by side. All of it shares one dashboard, one payout and one QR check in at the door.

What every model has in common

Every booking is prepaid at checkout. Guests check in with a QR code you scan on your phone, with no special hardware. Prices, schedules and capacity are yours to change at any time, and changes apply immediately.

Not sure which fits? Start your listing at hobber.ai/partners and the setup walks you through it.

Why booking things to do is still broken
